Design/Build Advantage

Cutting Edge Builders is a full service design/build firm. We do all our own design work in house on CAD software saving you significantly over working first with an architect and then selecting a builder. Bring us your ideas on a napkin, graph paper or even still in your mind and we will use our design and building experience to flesh out a solution.

As a builder experienced in both new construction and remodeling, we can draw from our varied experience to problem solve and come up with the best solutions in the design process and guide our clients through what can otherwise be a difficult experience.

Design/Build Process

When you design your new construction, renovation or combination of the two with Cutting Edge you get a simple process. When you contract with us to design your project, you pay us a design fee which includes all face to face meetings, emails, phone calls etc and when we have a final solution for you, the plans are yours.

We hope at this point we have earned your trust, you value our expertise and you choose us to do the work but because you own the plans you are free to bid them with anyone. If you do choose us to build your project, we credit 50% of the design fee toward the cost of the project.

In addition to designing a one of kind home, we can modify our collection of plans to meet your specific needs. Our floorplans range from 1,600 to 3,300 square feet and can be built with traditional, craftsman, or old world style exteriors. Most of these floorplans have been built by us previously so we have an actual home to visit in order to determine whether the home will meet your needs with a few modifications.
