Homier.jpgHomier Custom Home Completion Winter 2010

This 3,700 square foot two story custom home in Ada will feature an all LP Smart Trim exterior, two sided interior fireplace and jack and jill family bath.  The house was drawn by the client's designer but through several planning meetings we have incorporated many signature Cutting Edge elements including multiple pocket doors, glass transom windows above french doors, arched passthroughs, a coffered ceiling, and several different styles of wainscoting.

Our client contracted with Cutting Edge Builders based on our straight forward pricing presentation and reputation for high quality workmanship (we were referred from an existing custom home client).  Our client is looking forward to raising their family in their new custom home.

Cabin.jpgOff Grid Vacation Cabin Completion Fall 2010

Our client was looking to upgrade his second home near Wahalla Michigan from a rustic cabin to something he could use year long.  Located near the beautiful Manistee National Forest, this cabin will be used by the client for hunting, as well as, for family recreation throughout the year.  This cabin will be totally off the grid and powered by a solar panel system that is being shipped from Montana.

Our client contracted with Cutting Edge Builders because he was familiar with our work in his neighborhood in Ada and our ability to handle a complex project two hours away from his home.  Our client and his family are looking forward to using their new vacation home this Fall.

This nearly 5,000 square foot custom home is a combination of our client's ideas and signature Cutting Edge elements.  The 2nd floor Jack n Jill layout is inspired by the bathroom layout in several of our floorplans.  Signature Cutting Edge elements such as the hidden pantry, multiple pocket doors, glass transom windows above french doors, arched passthroughs, and a coffered ceiling.  Unique client ideas include a raised stage in the children's playroom and a wet bar recessed into an arched niche.  Additionally, this home integrates green build methods including raised heal trusses for better attic insulation, webbed and blown walls and a Superior Wall insulated foundation system.

Our clients contracted with Cutting Edge Builders based on our unique trim details and unmatched craftsmanship.  Our clients are looking forward to moving into their new home and getting their landscaping in order as the weather improves.

whitefish.jpgBig Whitefish Lake Addition/Renovation Completed Spring 2010

Our clients for this addition/remodel had two primary goals for the remodel of their lake home.  The first goal is to enlarge the existing lower level by enclosing an area currently underneath the cantilevered main floor. The additional area will be used as a home office and a media room.  The second goal is to expand the outdoor living space which includes the construction of a large screen room with retractable awnings to allow it to be enclosed during the Winter months. The outdoor living space also includes the construction of a large Azek composite deck and railings.  In addition to the two main projects, the entire home and garage will be reroofed and storage lockers will be constructed in the garage.

Our clients contracted with Cutting Edge Builders based on our design expertise and unmatched craftsmanship. Our clients are looking forward to enjoying this upcoming Summer with their new deck and screen room.
